Services

Our services are offered to people with all levels of vision loss that prevent a person, even with the best-corrected vision, from independently doing every day tasks. Many of our services are available free to adult residents of Monterey County including, the Salinas Valley, South County, and the Monterey Peninsula. You do not have to be legally blind to receive our services.

Caring professionals work one on one with clients. They customize services to the person’s specific needs, goals and abilities. Just as there are different levels of visual impairment, the services will vary with each individual. Instructors see clients, by appointment, in their every day surroundings, e.g. home, school and office. This enables instructors to give an accurate assessment of client’s true needs and goals.

A Spanish-speaking interpreter is available by appointment.
