Updated June 2018 – The primary purpose of the Orientation and Mobility Specialist is to organize, plan and implement orientation and mobility services to adults (largely seniors age 50-90+) who are blind or visually impaired and who may or may not have additional disabilities.

Certified Low Vision Therapist (CLVT) Low Vision Services Coordinator

Updated June 2018 – Mainly serving seniors (age 55+), the primary purpose of the CLVT is to serve as the Low Vision Services Coordinator for the Marjorie McNeely Low Vision Clinic, interact with the optometrist and intake coordinator, instruct individuals in the use of residual vision with optical devices, non-optical devices, and assistive technology, and help determine the need for environmental modifications in the home, workplace or school.
